Well it is very simple...

Here are things you will need in order to become a dj:

• A High Speed Internet Connection

• Microphone & Headset (Headset optional, but works better so you don't have feedback)

• A music collection of at least 1,000 or more

• A love for music

• At least 17 years old or older

• Music Software, which can be given to you with more details

Now that you know what you need to become a DJ, you say to yourself well what do I do while hosting a show of my own?

• Make sure you have a clear voice so that when you speak into your microphone...your listeners will be able to understand everything that you are saying. 

• Create a playlist ahead of time, not only will this help you with your show, but this will allow you to have something lined up just in case you don't have any requests or dedications coming in.

• Make sure you get all the copies of our wonderful station ads and dj ads.  (feel free to create your own...if you don't know how or wish not to, please speak with Jendoline for help)

• Feel free to create a theme for your show or just do a random music play.  Just make sure you do not repeat an artist more than 2 times in your 2 hour show unless you are doing a theme of a particular artist during your themed show!  Such as Triple Play Thursday or a 5 song music block of such artist.

• We love that you participate in listening to other djs while they do their show and request songs...it creates new friendships through djing and also gives pointers for your next show.

• Always make sure you advertise our station to not only just your friends, but in games that you play...if you gain just 1 listener from that, then they will get their friends to join in and listen to your show.

• Make sure to keep in communication by checking our forums and also participating in the forum by posting away!
