MonkeyLick Radio ~ Release Your Inner Monkey

Let's start this off by giving you a brief description of the owner of MonkeyLick Radio...

Jendoline started djing online in 2003 for a radio station named Wicked Karma.  She dj'ed over 5 nights a week and not only just dj'ed, but also was the HR Manager for the station.  She was part of the hiring process by doing interviews, to setting up the djs with all the right software and testing them out, and then setting them up on the schedule so they get started on their shows.  She was the go to person for the djs and made sure that the listeners were getting a chance to listen to many talented djs.

Jendoline later quit Wicked Karma in 2005 and started working for another station called ROFL Radio station.  She pretty much handled the same things as she did with Wicked Karma and tried to help with more ideas for the station to grow. 

Jendoline co-created a great show with ROFL Radio and with one of their dj's Pit Weston, which was interviewing upcoming new artists, but unfortunately didn't continue due to scheduling conflicts.  So, the show was just archived, but the thoughts are still being worked on for the future...;)

Jendoline at this point realized she wanted to create her own station, but needed help with it, so Pit Weston and Jendoline realized they make a great team not only djing, but also with the ideas for a station, so they decided to branch out and created their first internet radio station called Break Away Radio.  They had many djs that were part of Wicked Karma and ROFL Radio, but also gained new djs throughout the time while the station was running.

In 2008 after many meetings and mixed feelings...Break Away Radio had to close.  Their real lives started taking control of a lot of our times...Pit Weston was working more and Jendoline was getting married the end of 2008 to as she states that she was marrying her soul-mate and best friend.

Now in January 2009 they decided to give it a go again, but wanted to go with a new name instead of bringing back the old name. when thinking of a name, the server guy (Mark) brought to our attention that he had the MonkeyLick Online Auction site, but he closed it down.  That is where the infamous ad that Jendoline and Pit Weston created specifically for him and his site.  He offered them the name and after thinking about it for a few minutes...they accepted and well here they are today...

MonkeyLick Radio is a station that plays music from all genres catering to your music needs.  MLR are always looking for more djs.  MLR would love for you to be a part of our family whether you are a loyal listener, dj, manager or dedicated poster...they want you to be a part of it!!!
